Details:
Suma by Santa & Cole is a classic low voltage desk lamp with a double swing arm.
The solid steel base and body on Suma are finished in satin nickel, with a black aluminum reflector that houses the bulb and stays cool.
A turned tube doubles up as a cable guide while an ingenious friction system stops the arm from swinging freely thus preventing damage to the cable.
Suma by Santa & Cole is designed by Mariona & Jordi Miralbell, 1998

Santa & Cole was founded in Barcelona Spain in
1985, when Javier Nieto Santa, Gabriel Ordeig Cole, and Nina Masó founded it 23 years ago.
Santa Cole has been designing industrial objects in order to seek a better user-experience for these products.
In 1992 Santa & Cole was engaged in helping design and manufacturer the urban improvements for the Olympic games. Since then Santa & Cole has grown into a full service industrial design firm which includes Urban Design and Planning, Public Lighting, Outdoor Furniture, Forestry and Book Publishing. The lighting collection of Santa & Cole includes collaboration with Miguel Mila, Arne Jacobson and Antoni Arola. |
