Details:
The Orion Datum watch by Nomos holds functionality in high regard, with similarities akin to Bauhaus and German Werkbund. Though a new company, established in 1992 after the re-unification of Germany, Nomos is founded in the historical watch-making town of Glashütte, where the three-quarter plate movement was first introduced in 1864 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange.
Reintroduced in The Orion Datum watch by Nomos, this outstanding movement is stable and long-lasting, though technically more challenging to assemble.
There are other distinctive Nomos Orion Datum watch characteristics: the soft Glashütter click, hard-to-find Horween shell cordovan leather bands, Incabloc anti shock, surgical quality 316L steel, corrosion-resistant blued-steel hands and screws and the Nivarox 1A balance spring.
