Noguchi Akari 120A ceiling lamp is the largest round pendant lights with a 47" x 45" inch round paper shade diameter. The 120A shades are handmade with the japanese washi paper and the small bamboo ribbing.
The Akari light 120A ceiling lamps are handmade in Gifu, Japan the paper lanterns are a harmonious blend of Japanese handcraft and modernist design form.
Designed by Isamu Noguchi in the 1950's this oversized 120A ceiling lamp is an icon of modern design.
The ceiling lamps are available with a hard wire kit to connect to an electrical ceiling junction box, or a plug in kit with a swag kit that plugs into a wall outlet.

About Akari Lights
Disclaimer: The term Akari means soft natural light in Japanese. The world-renowned artist Isamu Noguchi popularized the term Akari by his prolific designs, and collaborative works in the 1950s. All of our products are manufactured by sole Manufacturer Ozeki in Japan, are authentic and have a factory placed stamp of the "Half Moon Design" and the designer "signature" stamped on the shade. All lamp shades are available with an optional 120V US ceiling wire kit or wall plug in kits. Wire kits are pending ETL approval.
Under the first sale doctrine, we serve and sell fine Asian and European lighting products in North America. We are not an authorized seller.
