"One day, in the early '60s, I invited the architect Magistretti, one of the greatest of Italian architecture, to design for us. He came to our first studio in Via Moscova and, on a sheet, he designed a circle cut by two horizontal lines. He explained: "It is a sphere, but cut and held by two metal braces and with luminous sphere in the centre. This is the basis of good design, easy to explain and beautiful to make". This was the first of the series that would include Erse and Clitunno. It came from a spontaneous moment but produced a classic design with perfect proportions. Desinged by Vico Magistretti
